One dead, four injured in Highway 2000 crash

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica -- A man, who is yet to be identified, died, while four others were injured in a motor vehicle collision on Highway 2000 in St Catherine, on Friday night.

Reports are that about 11:50 pm, the driver of an International truck was travelling towards Kingston when on reaching a section of the highway he collided with a Toyota Camry motor car.

The driver of the motor car and his four passengers received multiple injuries and were taken to hospital.

One man from the motor car succumbed to his injuries about 5: 00 am on Saturday. The others were admitted in stable condition.
