ROSEAU, Dominica — One person was killed and four others injured after a bus carrying Chinese and local construction worker plunged down a 55-foot precipice at Bioche, north of here on Friday.
The authorities have identified the dead man as Dominican Winston Lewis adding that the injured men were employees of the China Railway Company that is involved in the construction of the Roseau to Portsmouth highway.
They said that the driver lost control of the vehicle and plunged down the precipice.
Two Chinese nationals who were also on the bus were treated and discharged and two Dominicans hospitalised.
