KINGSTON, Jamaica — Prime Minister Andrew Holness has arrived in Namibia to a warm traditional welcome from officials there.

The prime minister, in a post on Twitter, said he was pleasantly surprised by the welcome and the gesture of a birthday cake to mark his 46th birthday today.

Holness' visit to the country is reportedly to discuss areas of mutual cooperation with Namibia inclusive of sports, culture and visa exemptions.
