KINGSTON, Jamaica — In the local forecast this morning, isolated showers are expected across north-eastern parishes, while everywhere else will be partly cloudy.

This is due to a weakening high pressure ridge across Jamaica and the northern Caribbean that is expected to continue to weaken today into tomorrow, according to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica.

A cold front is then expected to push into the western Caribbean and influence weather across the island over the weekend.

For this afternoon, isolated showers and possible thundershowers are expected across sections of central and western parishes.

Tonight should be partly cloudy.
