Phillips to head team to Washington, NY

FINANCE Minister Peter Phillips today announced that he will head a team of technocrats on an expedition to Washington DC and New York to negotiate with the International Monetary Fund and International capital markets.

Phillips made the announcement at a press conference at Jamaica House.

He also said a team from the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Jamaica and the Planning Institute of Jamaica are formulating a proposal to deal with the fund.
