KINGSTON, Jamaica – Police Inspector Dadrick Henry was Tuesday afternoon taken into custody by members of the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB).

Henry was subsequently charged with four counts of conduct tending to pervert the course of public justice, the police reported Tuesday night.

It is reported that between February and November of this year Henry allegedly interfered with complainants in a matter currently before the court.

A report was made to the ACB on November 8, after which an investigation was launched. On completion of the investigation, a file was submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions which ruled that Henry be charged. As a result warrants were prepared for his arrest and executed.

Henry is expected to be placed before the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court Wednesday, December 12.
