Police find counterfeit notes in Manchester

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are warning the public to be on the lookout for counterfeit money after fake $100 and $1000 bills were found during an operation in Manchester.
The bills, which resemble the new 'Jamaica 50' design, were in a Toyota motorcar that was stopped and searched by the police at Porus in the parish.<
The $1000 and $100 notes bear the following serial numbers:
• WK634855
• WJ836271
• AVY185790
• AVY185791
• AWD678114
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Porus Police at 904-1577 or the nearest police station.
