Police kill man in St James

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police in St James fatally shot a man early this morning.
Reports are that the unidentified man was shot by police in a confrontation in Coffee Lane, Mt Salem close to midnight as most Jamaicans were ringing in the New Year.
A Heckler and Kolch 9mm pistol along with six 9mm rounds were also seized.
The incident has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
