Police sergeant charged for indecent assault

KINGSTON, Jamaica - A police sergeant was yesterday arrested and charged for indecent assault by detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).
The sergeant was charged in connection with assaults allegedly committed in 2007.
He was slapped with two charges of indecent assault following a ruling by the Director of Public Prosecutions and when he appeared in court, was offered $250,000 bail.
The sergeant was ordered to surrender his travel documents and report to the Half-Way- Tree police station every Tuesday.
