Police probing deadly Little London fire

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — The Little London police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire of unknown origin which destroyed a four-bedroom dwelling house and claimed the lives of four people in Broughton District, Westmoreland on Friday night.

Dead are 32-year-old farmer Alwayne Clarke otherwise called 'Ziggy', his wife Susan; 42-year-old Wayne Thompson, a labourer, all of Broughton District, and an unidentified male.

Reports are that a fire was seen coming from the premises at about 6:47 pm and the police and fire department alerted.

Cooling down operation was conducted and during a search of the scene the charred remains of the four people were discovered.
