Police release photo of St Catherine wanted man

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The St Catherine North Police have released a photograph of a man who was listed as wanted on Friday, May 25.

He is 35-year-old Alvin Messam, otherwise called 'Kevin', of McGregor Lane, Spanish Town in St Catherine.

Messam is accused of murdering 44-year-old Clarence Clarke in Whitewater Meadows in the parish on Saturday, April 28.

It is alleged that after visiting the home of the mother of his children and getting into a fight with Clarke, Messam attacked him and chopped him several times as he walked along Whitewater Boulevard.

Detectives are renewing their appeal for anyone knowing the whereabouts of Alvin Messam to contact them at 984-2305, Crime Stop at 311, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
