Police seek assistance in identifying burnt body

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Denham Town police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a burnt body of a male that was found in a gully on Rousseau Road, Kingston 5 yesterday.

The body is said to be about 182 centimetres (six feet) long, stout build and with tattoo 'S.O.P' on the chest and 'Loyalty has no limits' on the abdomen.

Reports from the police are that about 7:30 pm residents observed tyres burning behind a church and summoned the fire brigade.

The firemen discovered the burnt remains during cooling down operations and alerted the police.

The police are now asking anyone with information who can assist them in their investigation and to identify this body to contact the Denham Town CIB at 876-948-6443, police 119 emergency or the nearest police station.
