Police still seeking info on attorney's murder

KINGSTON, Jamaica —The police are asking anyone with information or witnesses in the murder of attorney-at-law Sashakay Fairclough to contact them.

The 31-year-old was murdered in her community of Brook Green, St Ann on Friday, September 13.

Reports are that about 5:30 pm, Fairclough was driving a motor car on the Brook Green main road, when armed men travelling in the opposite direction drove up beside her vehicle and opened gunfire, hitting her multiple times.

The police were summoned and Fairclough was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The police said anyone with information may contact investigators at the Major Investigation Division at 876-758-5048 or Crime Stop at 311 or the police 119 emergency number.
