FROME, Westmoreland - Montego Bay United’s hopes of a place in the Red Stripe Premier League end of second round finals were dashed after they were ambushed 1-0 by last placed Savannah SC at the Frome Sports Complex Sunday.

Adrian Robinson’s penalty strike in time added on at the end of the first half gave Savannah SC a long overdue win, ending an 18 games slide.

MoBay United, who were losing back-to-back games for the third time this season and first since the first round after losing to Arnett Gardens by a similar score line last week, is stuck on 18 points in the second round.

Savannah SC which came from two goals down to draw 2-2 against Boys’ Town last week move to 15 points, still on the bottom of the tables but have earned four points in their last two outings.
