KINGSTON, Jamaica —Jamaica’s Novlene Williams-Mills and Shericka Jackson finished fourth and fifth in the women’s 400m at the Rabat Diamond League in 51.18s and 51.20s respectively.

The race was won in impressive fashion by the lanky Bahamian Shaunae Miller-Uibo in a meet record 49.80 seconds ahead of Americans Natasha Hasting and Quanera Hayes in 50.86s and 51.08s respectively.

Miller-Uibo’s meet record is the fourth best this season, bettered by Americans Allyson Felix with 49.65s and Hayes’ 49.72s. Miller-Uibo has the third best time of 49.77s.

Jackson, since winning the Jamaican National Championship, has not looked herself and was once again beaten by veteran Wiliams-Mills.

Controversial South African Caster Semenya, the Olympic 800m champion, could not live with the early pace and was seventh in season’s best 51.53s.
