Rain expected in north eastern parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Showers are expected across north eastern parishes this morning while it will be mainly sunny elsewhere, the Meteorological Service of Jamaica has reported.

Come this afternoon, partly cloudy and windy conditions are expected mainly across sections of northern parishes. Tonight should be generally fair with windy conditions mainly across northern parishes.

According to the Met Service, there is a high pressure ridge is across the central Caribbean, including Jamaica.

The high pressure ridge is expected to linger across the region for the next few days.
