KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Executive Council (NEC) of the People's National Party (PNP) on Sunday ratified the appointment of northeastern St Elizabeth Member of Parliament Raymond Pryce as Deputy General Secretary with responsibility for Communication.

Pryce now joins western Westmoreland MP Luther Buchanan and southeastern St Andrew MP Julian Robinson as Deputy General Secretaries at the Secretariat headed by National Security Minister and General Secretary Peter Bunting.

Pryce had previously headed the Party's Communications Commission now chaired by Senator Imani Duncan Price.

According to the PNP, the additional strengthening of the Party Secretariat comes as it embarks upon a robust programme to commemorate its Diamond Anniversary, which will culminate at its 75th Annual Conference in September this year.
