Reggae Girlz 4-0 at half time vs Cuba

EDINBURG, United States — Jamaica's senior Reggae Girlz were 4-0 up at half time over Cuba in their final Group B fixture at the Concacaf Women's Championship here at H.E.B Park.

Jody Brown (26th and 38th) has so far hit a brace for the Girlz while Khadija Shaw (2nd) and Sashana Campbell (30th) got the others.

The Jamaicans, who are currently in third on three points, are on the verge of overtaking second place Costa Rica, who are also on three points with a better goal difference.

The Costa Ricans are scheduled to lock horns with Canada in the feature game of the double header at 9:00 pm.

The top two teams will progress to the semi-finals in Frisco, Texas.

Defending champions United States and Panama have already progressed from Group A.
