THE Spanish Town Restorative Justice Centre was officially opened this morning.
The centre will help residents in and around Spanish Town to resolve their conflicts.
The ceremony took place at the Social Development Commission, Port Henderson Road in St Catherine.
Minister of Justice, Mark Golding, called on members of the community to make good use of the facility.
This centre is one of four centres opened in four pilot communities.
It forms part of the Ministry of the Justice’s thrust to implement alternative dispute resolution programmes that promote social cohesion.
The other communities are Tower Hill, Kingston, May Pen, Clarendon and Granville, St James.
