CATHERINE HALL, St James- St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) won a record third straight ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel Ben Francis Knock Out title Saturday after coming from behind to beat first-time finalists Grange Hill High 4-2 on penalty kicks at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
STETHS had come back from a 0-2 deficit at half time to level the score at 2-2 thanks to a brace from Jamel Sinclair after Norman Malcolm had given Grange Hill the lead after just 13 minutes.
Malcolm scored in the third and 13th minutes while Sinclair scored in the 53rd and 75th minutes.
In the penalty shoot out, Kaycee Bromfield, Donjay Smith, Romario Thompson and Rodney Whitter scored for STETHS while Shaquille Irving and Shackleford netted for Grange Hill after the STETH goalkeeper saved a shot from Omarley Thomas.
