KINGSTON, Jamaica — Four schoolboys appeared in the Home Circuit Court on a charge of abduction and rape Thursday.

The boys, all decked in school uniforms and wearing handcuffs, appeared without attorneys.

The matter was adjourned until Friday when the matter of bail may be considered for the schoolboys.

The boys are alleged to have abducted a girl and taking turns, raped her.

The matter was previously before the gun court, as it is alleged that a gun was used in the alleged offence, but that matter was thrown out.
