Scorpions 77-0 before rain delay

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica Scorpions are 77 without loss after winning the toss and electing to bat against Barbados Pride in the third-round regional four-day cricket match at Sabina Park.

Play has been interrupted on today's opening day due to rain, with left-hander John Campbell unbeaten on 42 off 49 balls and his opening partner Garth Garvey on 31 (35 balls).

Score: Scorpions 77-0 (14 overs)
Earlier, the scheduled 2:00 pm was delayed until 3:29 pm due to afternoon showers.
