Scorpions lead Hurricanes by 121 runs at tea

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica Scorpions raced to 95-3 in their second innings against Leeward Islands Hurricanes at the tea break on Friday in the ninth-round regional four-day game at Sabina Park.

After taking a 26-run first-innings advantage when they dismissed the Hurricanes for 171, the Scorpions have an overall lead of 121 runs.

Scores: Scorpions 197 (59.1 ovs) & 95-3 (16 ovs); Hurricanes 171 (78.3 ovs).
