KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission is advising motorists that emergency repairs to a collapsed sewer main will affect the traffic flow of west bound lanes on Washington Boulevard at the intersection of Colleyville Avenue in Kingston.

The NWC said the lanes have been reduced to accommodate single lane traffic in that direction.

“There is also no vehicular access into Colleyville Avenue. Motorists are being encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays,” stated the NWC in an advisory this morning.

The utility company estimated that the emergency repairs would be completed by 2:00 pm today.
