Tuesday, September 25, 2012 | 3:25 PM

KINGSTON, Jamaica — National Water Commission (NWC) customers in sections of St Elizabeth will have a longer wait for regular supply to be restored after the company missed a deadline.

Supply should have been restored today, however, a statement by the NWC said that it continues to experience difficulties with the New Forest Deep Well in the parish.

The new date for restoration is Thursday, September 27.

Among the affected areas are Bull Savannah, Comma Pen, Alligator Pond, Dunder Hill, Lititz, Junction, Nembhard Town, Green Olive, Lane, Rose Corner, Bent Town, Cheapside, Under Hill and Revitt.

The NWC says it will continue to truck water to these affected areas.
