St James man charged after cops find gun in bedroom

ST JAMES, Jamaica — The St James police have charged 28-year-old Obrian Grey with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition following an operation in Hendon, Norwood in the parish on Friday, October 11.

According to the police Grey, who is a truck driver from the said area, was stopped about 12:45 pm and searched after officers grew suspicious of him.

Further investigation led to Grey's house where one Taurus 9mm pistol with a magazine containing 10 rounds of ammunition was discovered inside his bedroom, the lawmen reported.

Grey is to appear before court at a later date.
