KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 15-year-old student of the Institute of Academic Excellence (IAE) is now dead after two fellow pupils of the Half-Way-Tree-based institution attacked him this afternoon.

He has been identified as Euric Brown.

Police say he was attacked and stabbed to death during a dispute over a cellular phone.

Another student who attempted to assist Brown was also stabbed and injured and is now in hospital.
