Student fatally stabbed at Edith Dalton High

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — A fifteen-year-old was stabbed to death during an altercation at the Edith Dalton James High School in St Andrew yesterday.

The teen has been identified as Clive Mattison of Riverside Drive in the parish.

Mattison was reportedly involved in a fight with another student about 10:40am, when a knife was used to stab him.

He was taken to hospital, where he died.

The police said his attacker, who is a student at the same institution, was taken into police custody and investigations are now underway.
