Sunshine Girls defeat host Scotland 68-26

GLASGOW, Scotland --- Jamaica's Sunshine Girls made it three wins from as many starts when they crushed hosts Scotland 60-26 in the preliminary round of Group A  in Commonwealth Games netball competition at the SECC  earlier Sunday.

Goal-shoot Romelda Aiken led the scoring with 42 from 49 attempts, followed by goal-attack Thristina Harwood with 15 from 21, while goal-shoot Jhaniele Fowler-Reid aided the onslaught with 11 from 14.

Scotland’s most successful shooter was Lesly McDonald with 12 shots from 17 tries.

Jamaica will be back in action Monday against Malawi.
