Suspect in New Kingston murder surrenders to police

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Amor Mullings, the main suspect in the murder of Owayne Sinclair at a New Kingston nightclub Monday, turned himself in to the police at approximately 5:15 this afternoon. 

Mullings was wanted after he allegedly shot and killed Sinclair and wounded another man at the Escape Nightclub in New Kingston.

He was accompanied by his attorney and will now be interviewed by detectives from the Kingston and St Andrew Major Investigation Taskforce.

Mullings, 27, is a sanitation worker from a Kingston 8 address.
