THE St Thomas Police are now interrogating a man who they believe is a suspect in the triple murder of a father and his two sons on Saturday.

The man was held in an operation in the parish.

Police have declined to provide further information about the development.

"The man is now in custody and is being questioned as the police believe he can provide information regarding the case," a senior officer from the St Thomas Police Division said.

Courtney Brown, a 48 year old farmer, was shot and killed and his two sons aged 9 and 10 were burnt alive after thugs set the family house on fire.

Brown's spouse managed to escaped from the house but was badly burnt.

She has since been admitted in hospital.

Police say they are searching for another suspect.
