Suspect arrested after Portland man's body found in barrel

PORTLAND, Jamaica — A man is now in custody after residents on Harris Crescent in Portland discovered the body of another man stuffed in a barrel with its head bashed in this morning.

The dead man has been identified as 37-year-old Kedron Marshall otherwise called 'Tete', of Ranch Hill, Portland.

Reports from the Port Antonio police are that about 6:45 am residents saw the body in a barrel with its head bashed in and summoned them.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue. The suspect was later apprehended. Investigations continue.
