Suspect held in murder of 14-y-o St James girl

ST JAMES, Jamaica — Police in St James are reporting that the man wanted for the murder of a 14-year-old girl was taken into police custody on Saturday.

He is Owen Allen, otherwise called 'Zoo Bug', of Brown's Lane, Granville in the parish.

An appeal was made for Allen to turn himself in to the police following the murder of Tianna Clarke who is also from the area.

Reports are that about 8:30 am Tianna's body was found in an unfinished building in her community.

Hours later, Allen reported to the Freeport Police.

Lawmen said he is to be questioned in the presence of his attorney.
