MANCHESTER, Jamaica – The Manchester police are investigating the suspected suicide early Tuesday of Mandeville businessman 33-year-old Jason Andre Neil of the well known motor vehicle repair service Neil's Auto Services.

Police told OBSERVER ONLINE that at about 7:00am Neil was found in the bathroom of his upscale Ingleside residence suffering from a gunshot wound. His licensed firearm was reportedly beside him.

Reports are that his wife heard an explosion, went to investigate and found Neil on the floor with the gun beside him.

He was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Up to late morning police were on the scene conducting investigations.
