KINGSTON, Jamaica — Romario Brown, the Corporate Area tattoo artist who had reportedly confessed to killing fashion designer Dexter Pottinger in August 2017 yesterday pleaded guilty to manslaughter and is to be sentenced shortly in the Home Circuit Court.

The 22-year-old Stony Hill, St Andrew resident, who was remanded, will also be sentenced on charges of larceny of a motor car and simple larceny.

The body of the well-known fashion icon was discovered with multiple stab wounds about 5:20 pm at his Yarico Place home in Kingston 20 on August 31.

Shortly after, Brown was arrested and charged when he reportedly confessed to killing Pottinger. Following the murder, Brown also stole Pottinger’s car, a television and a watch.

Pottinger had reportedly bailed Brown on August 29, the same day he was reportedly killed at his home by the accused.
