Teen girl stabbed to death in St Elizabeth

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — The Jamaica Constabulary Force's communication arm is reporting that a Clarendon teen was stabbed to death in St Elizabeth last night.

She is identified as 16-year-old Vernadine Anderson from the community of Corn Piece in Hayes.

Police reports are that about 9:00 pm on Tuesday, she was at a friend's house in Santa Cruz when the incident occurred.

The circumstances surrounding her death are unclear at this time.

The police are investigating.
