KINGSTON, Jamaica — Residents of Tamarind Tree located off the Bull Bay main road in St Andrew are calling on authorities to place greater emphasis on how large boulders — being used along the Palisadoes main road — are transported through communities.

The residents this morning voiced their concern after one of the boulders fell off the back of a truck travelling through the area.

"Last night the stone fall of the truck and it happen right at a spot where people normally sit," Kevin, a vendor in the area told the Jamaica Observer.

"No one was injured but it is still a cause for concern," Cynthia Warren, another concerned resident said."
