KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two police officers were shot and injured Tuesday afternoon in the normally quiet St Catherine community of Old Harbour.

Police are investigating the circumstances under which the lawmen were shot at about four o'clock.

The extent of their injuries are not known.

This bring to three the number of cops shot since the start of the year.

A police Corporal was murdered last month while walking with a female companion, not far from his home in Patrick City, St Andrew.
