KINGSTON, Jamaica — Members of the public are being advised that Ashenhiem Road off Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston is still closed to vehicular traffic following a fire at a business place this morning.

The police's Corporate Communications (CCU) issued the update a short while ago as firemen are said to be carrying out cooling down operations at the location.

The police are advising motorists to instead utilise East Avenue which has been converted to two-way vehicular traffic.

Earlier today the National Works Agency said that motorists wishing to access Marcus Garvey Drive are being advised to travel along Spanish Town Road, then turn onto Industrial Terrace, which exits onto Marcus Garvey Drive.
