KINGSTON, Jamaica — Minister of National Security Robert Montague has asked Police Commissioner George Quallo to provide him, by this afternoon, a report on the circumstances surrounding last evening's activities, which resulted in the traffic pile-up along the Palisadoes Road, which leads to the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA).

In a release from his ministry a short while ago, Montague said the repercussions are yet to be tabulated, noting that flights were delayed and passengers missed their flights.

He has asked Quallo to:

• outline the conditions surrounding the issuing of the permit;

• the policing plan that was put in place for the event, and,

• the steps that will be taken to hold someone accountable.
