UPDATE: Sri Lanka A 225-5 at Tea v Windies

TRELAWNY, Jamaica – Dasun Shanaka smashed an unbeaten 50-ball 55 to lift Sri Lanka A to 225-5 at Tea on day one of the second 'Test' against West Indies A at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose stadium.

Sri lanka A were tottering at 137-5 midway the post lunch session when the right-handed Shanaka walked to the wicket. He slammed five sixes off spinners Rahkeem Cornwall and Damion Jacobs alongside three boundaries to push back the hosts.

Roshen Silva, not out 22, provided support for Shanaka in a sixth wicket stand worth 88.

Resuming after Lunch at 97-2, Sri lanka lost Charith Asalanka (41), captain Dhananjaya de Silva (73) and Shehan Jayasuriya (0). Fast bowler Keon Joseph 3-32 and off spinner Rahkeem Cornwall 2-85 were the successful bowlers at Tea .
