ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – Police have named two young men who died in the first of two horrific crashes in Holland Bamboo, west of Lacovia, St Elizabeth, less than twelve hours apart late Friday and Saturday morning.

Police say 22-year-old Andrae Stevens and Jermaine Black both of Barton Wharf district died when the vehicle in which they were travelling collided with a minivan at minutes after 11:00 pm Friday night.

Reports -- which have not yet been confirmed by police -- say two people died in a second crash at almost the same spot in the Holland Bamboo in late morning Saturday.

Reports suggest speeding and reckless driving triggered both crashes.
