US’s Tinsley wins Diamond League 400m hurdles, Green third

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Silver medalist Michael Tinsley of the US won the men’s 400m hurdles in 48.50 today.

Tinsley defeated Olympic champion Felix Sanchez of the Dominican Republic (48.93) in his first race since winning in London.

Leford Green of Jamaica was third in 48.97.

Green finished seventh at the Olympic Games.
