Unidentified man stabbed to death in Portmore

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – The police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of man who was stabbed to death in Portmore, St Catherine.

The deceased is believed to be about 25 years old and was sporting a low cut hairstyle at the time of his death.

His body is slim built, about 178 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) long and has the numbers '27' and '6' tattooed on the left arm.

The constabulary's Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) said resident residents discovered the body about 9:00 pm Thursday and called the police.

The scene was processed and the body, which had multiple stab wounds, was removed to the morgue.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Portmore police at 876-949-8422, Crime Stop at 311, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
