Veteran broadcaster Desmond Elliot is dead

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Veteran broadcaster and former Director of TV Programmes at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC) for over 30 years, Desmond Elliott, is dead.
Elliot died in the Buff Bay Hospital at about 11:30pm on Sunday. He was 75 years old.
At the time of his passing, Elliot was a freelance producer of the programme, Golden Memories on PBC Jamaica.
