Water lock-off in St Ann, St Elizabeth

ST ANN, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers served by the Minard system in St Ann that they will experience a disruption in their water supply on Thursday, February 21, between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. This is to facilitate urgent repairs to a transmission main at the Minard facility.
Also, on Saturday, February 23 there will be another disruption in supply between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Areas to be affected include: Orange Hill, Benin, Standfast, St Hildas Drive, Top Road, Clarks Crescent, Westley Crescent, Retreat,Goshen, Minard Heights, Liberty Valley, Liberty Hill, Huntley, Trycee, St Christopher Crescent ,Brown's Town and its environ.
At the same time, a number of water supply facilities in St Elizabeth are currently out of operation due to a Jamaica Public Service (JPS) power failure.
These facilities include Benlomonds, which serves — Benlomonds, Siloah, Thornton, Williamsfield, Windsor, Spring, Pang Town and Bagdale Mountain.
Siloah, which serves — Union, Raheen, Marlborough, Russell Hill, Phoenix Park, Balaclava, St Pauls, Roses Valley, Comfort Hall, Content, Free Town, Evergreen, Mount Pleasant and Beverly.
And Maggotty, which serves — Cameron Hill, Dry River, Redding and Maggotty Pass.
