KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that the Goshen Pen Water Treatment Plant in St Catherine is currently out of service due to a burnt motor affecting operation at the facility.

As a result, customers in some sections of Portmore are presently experiencing extreme low water pressure or without water.

Areas affected include Greater Portmore, Naggo Head, Old Braeton, Congreve Park, Silverstone, Portmore Pines, Monza, Daytona, Ascott, West Cumberland, Edgewater, Bridgeport and BridgeView.

Regular water supply is expected to be restored by late this evening, the NWC said.
