Water supply to sections of St Andrew and St Ann to be suspended – NWC

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Some National Water Commission (NWC) customers in St Andrew will have their water supply disrupted as operations at the Hope Filter Plant will be suspended from 8:00 pm Monday, August 14 to 4:00 am Tuesday, August 15, as a result of repairs to be carried out.

Areas to be impacted will include Mona Heights, Old Hope Road, Liguanea, August Town, Barbican and Liguanea Avenue.

Meanwhile sections of St Ann will have their water supply disrupted on Sunday, August 13 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, to facilitate repairs on a broken 12-inch main at Minard, Brown's Town.

Areas to be affected are Minard, Huntley, Goshen, Main Street, and surrounding areas.

The NWC is urging customers to store water for use during the disruption times specified.
