Weather Update: Cold front just west of Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica has reported that there is currently a cold front just to the west of Jamaica and it is expected to linger for the next few days.

With this, periods of showers and isolated afternoon thunderstorm activity should be expected across the island.

Meanwhile, in the forecast this morning partly cloudy conditions are expected for sections of easter parishes while everywhere else will be mainly sunny elsewhere.

Come this afternoon, while scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across sections of the island, particularly southern parishes.

The showers are expected to linger across southern parishes.
