Weather Update: Cool day ahead

KINGSTON, Jamaica — In the local forecast this morning partly cloudy conditions and isolated showers can be expected across northern sections of the island, while cool conditions across the island are expected to persist, the Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica has reported.

This afternoon it is expected to continue being cool with partly cloudy conditions across sections of southern parishes.

Tonight should be mainly fair and cool.

The cool weather conditions are due to a trough across the Caribbean which is expected to persist for the next few days.

A cold front is expected to move into the vicinity of the island late Wednesday.
